These rules are provided as a guide to aid the smooth running and usefulness of the forum for the majority of members, members are asked to familiarise themselves with them.

1) There will be no racial, ethnic, gender based insults or any other personal discriminations.

2) There will be no posts meant to offend or hurt any other member, in a manner which is offensive or inflammatory.

3) Unnecessary bumping of topics is considered spam, and topics bumped for no reason shall be locked. If a topic you want to talk about is few months old, don't bump the old one just restart the topic as a new one.

4) Spamming is not permitted; please keep all your posts as constructive as possible.

5) All posts are property of the poster. This forum and all web sites owned in conjunction with this forum have the right to request alteration or deletion of any offensive post. Posts may be deleted for any reasons the forum administrators deem reasonable.

6) Users may not argue a moderators decision publicly. Any and all complaints directed at a moderator/admin must first address the moderator/admin in question via PM.

7) Signatures may contain images and text - keeping file sizes & space used to a reasonable level i.e. 450 x 150 pixels maximum.

7a) No animated signatures or avatars

8) Do not use urban slang, text speak or text speak abbreviations - Plain English only is acceptable, this avoids confusion for members not familiar with this type of slang.

9) Please keep foul language to a minimum, any excessive un-called for language will be removed and you will receive a final warning.

10) Remember to post in the correct forum. Take your time to look at other topics and see where your topic should go. If your topic is placed in the wrong forum, it will be moved by a moderator.

11) If a topic is recognized as being posted in the wrong forum, or if the post is a violation of our guidelines then please contact a member of admin via PM, please do not respond publicly to the member - a member of staff will do what is required upon contact.

12) You may have one username on the board at any one time. If you wish to change your name, please ask Fonzie. We reserve the right to merge or delete multiple accounts.

13) Advertising or promoting products/services from any commercial-related websites selling similar items to Enigma Hobby is forbidden in any relation to your account. Posts & threads in breach of this rule will be deleted without warning.

14) Advertising other UK model horse forums is not allowed.

Bandwidth theft or "hotlinking" is direct linking to a web site's files (images, video, etc.). An example would be using an <img> tag to display a JPEG image you found on someone else's web page so it will appear on your own site, eBay auction listing, weblog, forum message post, etc. If you want to display an image (with the owner's permission if required) use Photobucket or similar.

The attempts to hack into members accounts has led to this new addition to the rules

Inactive members accounts will be deleted at Admins discretion
